Matthew studied creative craft in fashion at the Matthew Boulton College Birmingham in 2009 before moving on to study product and industrial design at the prestigious University for the Creative Arts, Rochester. He started his business in 2010 in London by supplying an online store, but he has grown from one online store to having his designs in races and events all around the world.
He has won several awards in UK and internationally. Including the first prize from the international hat festival in France and also Hat magazine award presented by Carol Denford from the same festival in 2012. He was also awarded first prize from Bridport hat festival in 2012.
Matthew's designs are one of a kind and very creative. He has been able to combine both couture and ready to wear brilliantly to present a full collection of varieties to cater for all customer's needs. The quality of his headwear is extraordinary and his ability to use sinamay is unparalleled.
